Job summary

Capgemini Singapore is seeking a Data and Artificial Intelligence Scientist to design, develop, and deliver scalable cloud-native data and AI solutions. You will collaborate with product owners, engineers, researchers, and partners to turn ideas into impactful products and services.

You will explore AI technologies, build ML/DL models, and deploy AI-powered apps such as agents and RAG systems, shaping Singapore's digital transformation journey through practical, production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Strong AI, ML, and data science foundation.
• Proficient in Python and/or C++.
• Experience with data manipulation, visualization, ML, and reporting libraries.
• Hands-on experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or equivalents.
• Experience in prompt engineering and LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude).
• Experience designing and deploying AI agents, RAG applications, and vector/graph databases.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, microservices, and AI deployment practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners, engineering teams, and industry partners through the product lifecycle.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies, research advancements, and industry trends.
• Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI and data solutions using cloud-native architectures.
• Build, test, and optimise ML, DL, and generative AI models for production.
• Develop and deploy AI-powered applications, including AI agents and RAG systems.
• Participate in agile and secure software development processes, including documentation, testing, and code reviews.
• Propose and validate algorithms ensuring scalability, explainability, fairness, security, and cost efficiency.
• Work with structured, unstructured, and multimodal datasets.
• Contribute to cross-functional teams addressing industry challenges with data and AI.
• Stay current with AI advancements and identify opportunities for innovation.
