Job summary

Tencent AMS is establishing a core engineering hub in Singapore to lead our overseas ad-data infrastructure. We are seeking a motivated Software Engineering Intern to help build next-generation ad-data systems natively on AWS.

You will work with senior engineers on high-concurrency advertising logic, real-time attribution, and massive log processing in a cloud-native environment, gaining hands-on experience across the stack.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong programming in Java with data structures, algorithms and OO design.
• Basic knowledge of multithreading and JVM is a plus.
• Interest in big data frameworks (Flink, Spark, HBase) is desirable.
• Familiarity with cloud concepts; Linux, Git and container tech (Docker/Kubernetes) is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to debug and optimize code.

Responsibilities

• Cloud-native system development: build, test and maintain ad-data services on AWS.
• Develop real-time and batch pipelines using Flink, Spark and HBase.
• Write unit and integration tests; help monitor system stability and performance.
• Collaborate to implement features for 24/7 high-traffic ad-tech operations.
• Support data isolation and regional compliance for global users.
