Job summary

DT One is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer in Singapore to lead and manage critical cloud infrastructure. You will drive availability, automation, and security across AWS-based services while collaborating with a global engineering team.

The role requires hands-on experience with Linux, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes and monitoring stacks. A strong background in network design and scalable web services is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
• 3+ years experience supporting and securing large scale systems and APIs in production.
• Strong experience with AWS Cloud infrastructure management and related services.
• Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining Bind, Squid, Apache, MySQL, HAProxy on Linux/Unix.
• Ability to automate tasks with scripting languages (Bash, Python).
• Experience designing networks, systems and architectures.
• Strong Linux administration and CLI skills.
• Solid understanding of DNS/SSH/HTTPS/SFTP/SMTP protocols.
• Experience with AWS, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, HAProxy, Nginx, ELB/ALB, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, ECS/EKS/Kubernetes, Fluentd, Elasticsearch.
• Experience in designing web services and APIs in the cloud.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, upgrade and monitor infrastructure for 99.99%+ SLA.
• Deploy and manage Cloud infrastructure to meet business needs, optimize performance and cost.
• Automate provisioning of the platform to support engineering requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering to design and architect the platform.
• Perform maintenance and upgrades including patches, backups and updates.
• Develop patching strategies and AMIs for cloud apps.
• Design backup/restoration and business continuity plans.
• Build and maintain Unix/Linux services (FTP/SFTP, NFS, DNS, SMTP, Proxy).
• Define KPI/metrics to assess platform performance.
• Identify risks early and address proactively.
• Follow configuration/change management policies; maintain monitoring policies.
• Create and maintain system/process documentation; implement logging/monitoring best practices.
• Configure logging/monitoring and investigate alerts to resolve incidents.
• Keep up with containers, serverless, microservices, DevOps/SRE trends.
