Job summary

Nanyang Polytechnic invites applications for a full-time Lecturer/Senior Lecturer position in Cloud Engineering. You will deliver applied and experiential learning, mentor students and align curricula with industry needs, including AI, IoT and digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

Relevant academic qualifications in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or Cloud Computing.
Hands-on experience in cloud-native app development and DevOps practices.
Proficiency with Python and JavaScript; able to integrate cloud services via APIs/SDKs.
Strong teaching, mentoring, and communication skills.
Interest or experience in AI, IoT or cloud-enabled digital transformation is a plus.
Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, etc.) are an advantage.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver learning units in Cloud Engineering & Cloud Native Development.
Deliver CI/CD, IaC, containerisation and automation in course activities.
Supervise student projects and align with industry practices.
Contribute to curriculum development and academic quality processes.
Stay abreast of industry trends and integrate emerging technologies into teaching.
