Job summary

EXASOFT CONSULTING PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and manage GCP infrastructure across hybrid cloud environments in Singapore.

You will automate provisioning with Terraform, run container workloads with Kubernetes, Docker, and GKE, and build data processing solutions using Dataproc, BigQuery, and Spark.

The role covers security controls, monitoring, incident response, and L2/L3 support to ensure reliable GCP services.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of cloud engineering experience with GCP and enterprise workloads.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong experience with Terraform for IaC, provisioning, and automation.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes, Docker, and GKE, incl. serverless architectures in GCP.
• Strong experience with Dataproc, BigQuery, Spark; Avro and Parquet formats.
• Experience in Hybrid Cloud Architecture, monitoring, logging, incident response, and GCP security controls.
• L2/L3 operational support and troubleshooting; GCP Associate or Specialist certification preferred.

• Design, architect, deploy, and manage GCP infrastructure and production workloads across hybrid cloud environments.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and orchestration using Terraform.
• Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes, Docker, and GKE, including serverless architectures within GCP.
• Develop and support data processing and analytics solutions using Dataproc, BigQuery, and Spark, including Avro and Parquet formats.
• Implement infrastructure monitoring, log analysis, and automated incident response within GCP.
• Implement, validate, and automate GCP security controls across cloud infrastructure and workloads.
• Provide L2/L3 operational support, troubleshoot complex production issues, and maintain reliable GCP services.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in cloud engineering with strong hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and enterprise production workloads.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code, provisioning, configuration management, and automation.
• Hands‑on expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, and GKE, including container orchestration and GCP serverless architectures.
• Strong experience with Dataproc, BigQuery, and Spark, including Avro and Parquet data formats.
• Experience in Hybrid Cloud Architecture, infrastructure monitoring, log analysis, incident response, and GCP security controls.
• Strong L2/L3 operational support and troubleshooting experience; GCP Associate or Specialist-level certification preferred.
