Job summary

Percept Solutions is seeking a GCP Cloud Engineer to design, build and operate a hybrid cloud data platform that processes petabytes of data for AI/ML workloads.

You will work with architects and engineering teams to deliver reliable, secure cloud infrastructure and provide L2/L3 operational support across the platform.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience deploying and operating production workloads on GCP, including hybrid cloud environments.
• Strong experience with GKE, Dataproc and BigQuery.
• Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker and GCP serverless services.
• Experience with Apache Spark and data formats such as Avro and Parquet.
• Knowledge of cloud monitoring, log analysis, automation and incident response.
• Ability to implement and validate security controls in GCP.
• Strong cloud architecture or development experience, with a GCP associate or specialist level certification.
• Experience providing L2/L3 support for production systems.

You will work with architects and engineering teams to deliver reliable, secure cloud infrastructure and provide L2/L3 operational support.
