• Industry/ Organization Type: IT/Consultancy
• Position Title: Cloud Engineer / Cloud Specialist (AWS/Azure)
• Working Location: Ubi
• Working Hours: 5 days (Monday to Friday 10AM - 7PM)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary up to $7,500 + Bonus + Allowances + Medical & Dental Benefits
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Develop automation and processes to enable teams to deploy, manage, scale, and monitor applications in data centres and cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system and application issues across platforms, participating in on-call escalations for critical incidents.
• Set up and manage monitoring tools to keep track of system performance.
• Implement configuration management systems for business continuity and automate disaster recovery measures.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient change management and releases.
• Automate configuration management for development, QA, and production workloads.
• Perform vulnerability checks, harden systems, and resolve security issues.
• Help set up cloud environments in AWS and Azure for web applications used by clients.
• Design and monitor automation systems to fix bottlenecks and keep services running smoothly.

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer or Electronics Engineering or relevant discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in Cloud Environment Setup and Configuration.
• Experience in DevOps automation, containerisation and orchestration using tools such as Docker and Kubernetes and CICD Tools is preferred.
• Has experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Proficiency in at least three programming/scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python, Go, etc.).
• Any experience with automated provisioning tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Vagrant is an added advantage.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (KVM, VMware, Hyper-V) is a plus.
• Knowledge of Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) tools such as Prometheus, Helm, ArgoCD, Istio, Gatekeeper or Crossplane is preferred.
