Our Cloud Engineers are the hands-on experts who make our cloud, data, and AI strategies a reality.

Role: Cloud Engineer

As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and platforms to support enterprise applications, data pipelines, and AI workloads. You will work closely with architects, data engineers, and developers to deploy containerized workloads, implement DevSecOps practices, and ensure reliable operations of cloud-native and AI-enabled applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, hybrid) to support application, data, and AI workloads.
  • Deploy and operate Kubernetes clusters (AKS, EKS, or on-prem) and containerized applications/services including data processing and AI inference.
  • Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code templates (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation, Ansible).
  • Integrate and maintain CI/CD pipelines with embedded security (DevSecOps) for both application and data/AI deployments.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for cloud and AI workloads.
  • Support migrations of infrastructure, applications, and data platforms to cloud environments.
  • Work with architects to design and review cloud solutions, providing feedback on security, scalability, cost, and AI/data considerations.
  • Maintain documentation of configurations, procedures, and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and participate in incident response.
About You – Preferred Knowledge/Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing and operating private/public/hybrid cloud infrastructure solutions.
  • Strong AWS and/or Azure cloud concepts with hands-on experience working with core services.
  • Experience managing Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads.
  • Experience supporting data engineering or AI workloads (e.g. model training/inference pipelines, big data platforms, AI microservices).
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation, Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) with security checks integrated (DevSecOps).
  • Good understanding of networking fundamentals (VPC, NSGs, routing, load balancers, DNS).
  • Experience implementing and managing cloud security controls, identity and access management, and compliance frameworks (e.g. MAS TRM, PDPA, ISO 27001).
  • Familiarity with container security tools and vulnerability scanning.
  • Scripting skills in at least one of: Python, PowerShell, Bash.
  • Added advantage if you have experience working with GCC (Government Community Cloud) environments.
Certifications (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • AWS Solutions Architect Professional
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
  • DevSecOps Foundation or comparable security certification
  • Hashicorp Terraform Certifications
  • Added advantage if have NUS ISS Solution Architect Certification
