Job summary

Thales IFE in Singapore is building a leading cloud-enabled engineering center for its digital in-flight experience solutions. The team will leverage cloud engineering, agile leadership practices and proven hardware-software integration to deliver scalable, high-availability services for ground and onboard platforms.

We are seeking engineers with 2+ years in software development, experience with cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform and REST APIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years of software development experience.
• Experience with web/mobile development, networking or systems software development.
• Experience with cloud platforms, Docker, CI tools, and configuration management tools.
• Experience with Kubernetes and infrastructure provisioning tools (Terraform).
• Proficient in Java, C/C++, C#, Python, JavaScript, Node.js or Golang.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs and API Gateways.
• Experience with Agile software development and continuous improvement culture.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy IFE digital solutions with focus on high availability and scalability.
• Drive collaboration within Agile teams of Engineers and Product Owners and UI Designers to build new product features.
• Collaborate closely with squad engineers and become a valued member of an autonomous, cross- functional squad.
• Collaboration with Cloud CoE team to improve the tooling, develop a safe, secure framework for fast deployment of Inflyt Experience digital solutions.
• Be hands-on and deliver on frontend applications and backend platform services.
• Build and operate infrastructure, toolset and CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop individually to continue to grow and provide training to individuals and other functional groups as needed.
• Continuously improve IFE digital solutions by innovating on the services offered.
