Job summary

NCS is seeking an experienced Cloud Data Platform Solution Architect to design and deploy a modern, secure cloud data platform on AWS. You will integrate Talend, Denodo, RStudio Workbench, CKAN, Keycloak, Tyk, and API Gateways to enable scalable analytics and AI workloads.

The role requires translating user stories and security requirements into platform plans, with strong collaboration across DevOps, data engineering, and business teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or solution architecture roles.
• Experience designing and deploying Talend Big Data Management, Talend Data Catalog, Denodo, RStudio Workbench, CKAN, Keycloak, Tyk and AWS services (S3, Redshift).
• Strong understanding of big data ecosystem and modern data lake/data warehouse architectures.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead the end-to-end setup of a cloud-based data platform on AWS, integrating multiple tools and services.
• Deploy and configure Talend, Denodo, RStudio Workbench, and API gateways for secure data access.
• Define and document platform architecture, integration patterns, and operational procedures.
• Ensure security, compliance, and scalability across all platform components.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, data engineering, and business teams to align capabilities with needs.
