Job summary

NCS is seeking an experienced Cloud Data Platform Solution Architect to design, build, and implement a modern cloud data platform on AWS. This role requires integrating Talend, Denodo, RStudio Workbench, CKAN, and multiple API gateways to enable secure, scalable analytics and AI initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in data architecture/engineering or solution architecture, with strong communication skills and a track record of delivering enterprise data platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 12+ years(min) of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or solution architecture roles.
• Proven experience designing and deploying solutions with Talend Big Data Management, Talend Data Catalog, Denodo, Keycloak, CKAN, Tyk and AWS services.
• Strong understanding of big data ecosystem and modern data lake/data warehouse architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead the end-to-end setup of a cloud-based data platform on AWS, integrating multiple tools and services.
• Deploy and configure Talend Big Data Management, Talend Data Catalog, Denodo, RStudio Workbench, Posit Package Manager, and API gateways.
• Define and document platform architecture, integration patterns, and operational procedures.
• Ensure security, compliance, and scalability across all components of the platform.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, data engineering, and business teams to align capabilities with needs.
