Job summary

Land Transport Authority is seeking a Data Engineer to own, build, and scale the data infrastructure powering our analytics platforms. You will bridge hands-on pipeline development with cloud architecture (AWS/Azure) and collaborate across squads to implement data engineering best practices and modern CI/CD automation via SHIP-HATS.

You will manage the full data lifecycle, from upfront feasibility and stakeholder alignment to robust ETL/ELT processes, quality checks, and post-deployment health,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Basic working knowledge of Python.
• Demonstrated interest or coursework in cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

Responsibilities

• Own, build, and scale data infrastructure powering analytics and applications.
• Bridge hands-on pipeline development with AWS cloud architecture.
• Champion data engineering best practices and CI/CD automation (SHIP-HATS).
• Drive data lifecycle from feasibility to robust ETL/ELT processes and post-deployment health.
• Embed data quality checks, resolve production issues, and maintain technical documentation.
