Job summary

USER EXPERIENCE RESEARCHERS PTE. LTD. is seeking a backend-focused full-stack engineer to design and build core services for a cloud-based platform.

You will own API development, data modelling, and business logic, ensuring secure, scalable systems that support workflows across booking, approval, and CRM modules. You will collaborate with frontend, QA, and infrastructure teams, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and address security findings while optimising performance and reliability in an AWS

Qualifications

• Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, Express.js or NestJS.
• Strong PostgreSQL/SQL skills including relational modelling and query optimisation.
• Design and implement REST APIs with secure authentication (OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, RBAC).
• Familiarity with AWS-hosted apps and services (Lambda, API Gateway, RDS/Aurora PostgreSQL, S3).
• DevOps familiarity: Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, environment variables.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services for a cloud-based platform.
• Collaborate with frontend, QA, and infra teams to deliver secure, reliable APIs.
• Develop and optimise workflows like booking, approval, case management, and CRM systems.
• Support CI/CD, deployment scripts, and database migrations.
• Address security findings from SAST/DAST/VA/PT reports.
