Job summary

A leading recruitment firm in Singapore is seeking a Cloud Architect to implement and manage cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have 6-7 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, particularly with GCC 2.0 architecture and Azure. Responsibilities include cloud service implementation and advising clients on best practices. Candidates with certifications in Azure are preferred.

Cloud Architect

Responsibilities:

• Any New Cloud/Infra/Common Service/GCC Implementation
• Strong knowledge on GCC 2.0 architecture and implementation
• Subscriptions & Compartment
• Infra and Network architecture
• MGMT Compartment
• Intranet/Internet Apps Compartment
• Intranet / Internet Common Service Compartment
• LLZ Compartments

Roles:

• Cloud Administrator: All Cloud Native Implementation, AD Authentication, Corp apps App Service
• Cloud Infra Admin: All Infra Creation
• DevOps Admin: Terraform

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 - 7 years of experience in designing and implementing private / public / hybrid cloud infrastructure solutions
• Possess knowledge in cloud architecture and implementation features (OS, multi-tenancy, virtualization, orchestration, elastic scalability)
• Strong knowledge on GCC 2.0 architecture
• Experience in the design of Multi-Cloud Services
• Possess knowledge of cloud architecture, cloud native patterns, container management and cloud computing capabilities especially as offered by Azure
• Understanding Azure Defense-in-Depth security and auditing capabilities
• Understanding of the various IT infrastructures and application stacks
• Utilizing cloud security controls, network boundary controls, and related toolsets
• Understanding agile software development and ability to apply DevOps concepts
• Working within customer requirements and advising customers on best practices while upholding customer service standards
• Experienced with scripting in one or more of the following languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, and C#/.NET

Good to have skills:

• Prefer to have one or more of the following technical certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases, including performance tuning and troubleshooting
