Job summary

A corporate advisory firm in Singapore is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Architect to design and implement high availability solutions on Azure and AWS. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in cloud architecture and a degree in Computer Science. Responsibilities include managing infrastructure projects and collaborating with vendors. Certifications in AWS and Azure are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant working experience in cloud infrastructure architecture.
• Proficient in designing and implementing cloud solutions, and optimization.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement High Availability, Backup & Recovery solutions on Azure and AWS, and prepare comprehensive technical documentation.
• Manage large-scale infrastructure project implementations and deployments.
• Review Vulnerability Assessment and Security Assessment reports; propose and implement infrastructure solutions and provide recommendations to application teams.
• Ensure solution designs align with requirements for scalability, performance, and quality, in accordance with established service level agreements.
• Collaborate with product vendors for effective cloud solution deployment.
• Plan and conduct research on application technologies independently to support business objectives.
• Prepare documentation outlining the ideal future state of infra-architecture, identify current gaps, and define transition plans to bridge these gaps.
• Any other adhoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent
• At least 5–7 years of relevant working experience in cloud infrastructure architecture and implementation, particularly with AWS and Azure
• Proficient in designing and implementing cloud solutions (HA, backup/recovery), infrastructure deployment, vulnerability and security assessment review, cloud architecture documentation, and performance/scalability optimization
• Strong analytical thinking, communication, leadership, and stakeholder collaboration skills
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalent
