Job summary

RAPSYS TECHNOLOGIES PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Cloud Administrator to manage Microsoft Azure GCC resources, VMs, and databases. The role includes monitoring, security, and automation to ensure reliable cloud services for clients.

The ideal candidate will handle Azure networking, identity management, and vulnerability remediation while contributing to IaC practices and ongoing operational health checks.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Azure services and Azure SQL Database.
• Experience with SQL Server Administration on Windows/Linux.
• Hands-on knowledge of Azure networking fundamentals.
• Scripting with PowerShell and Azure CLI for automation.
• Understanding of cloud security, identity management, and access controls.

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor Azure resources, subscriptions, resource groups, and policies.
• Manage Azure Virtual Machines (Windows/Linux) and SQL Server hosted on Azure VMs.
• Support Azure SQL Database, database monitoring, backup verification, and basic troubleshooting.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Alerts.
• Support Azure networking components including VNets, NSGs, Route Tables, VPN Gateways, Private Endpoints, and Private DNS Zones.
• Manage Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), RBAC, MFA, and access controls.
• Perform Vulnerability Management Services (VMS) remediation, including security patching, OS hardening, vulnerability assessment, remediation tracking, and closure of security findings.
• Support cloud security, compliance audits, and implementation of security recommendations.
• Assist with backup, recovery, patching, and operational health checks.
• Develop and maintain basic automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Troubleshoot cloud, server, networking, and database-related issues.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and runbooks.
