Job summary

Exasoft Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks an Azure Cloud Administrator to oversee GCC cloud environments, VMs, databases, and networking components. The role focuses on security, governance, and reliable operations.

You will implement automation with PowerShell and Azure CLI, support monitoring, patching, backups, and incident response while collaborating with security and compliance teams to maintain cloud health.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• AZ-900 certification desirable; AZ-104 and SC-900 advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and maintain Microsoft Azure GCC cloud environments including resources and policies.
• Manage Azure VMs running Windows/Linux and SQL Server on Azure VMs.
• Support Azure SQL Database administration, monitoring, backup verification, and basic troubleshooting.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Manage Azure networking components (VNets, NSGs, Route Tables, VPN Gateways, Private Endpoints, Private DNS Zones).
• Administer Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), RBAC, MFA, and access controls.
• Perform vulnerability remediation, OS hardening, and compliance activities.
• Develop basic automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and IaC tools.
• Troubleshoot Azure, Windows/Linux, networking, and database incidents.
• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and maintain Microsoft Azure GCC cloud environments, including sub ions, resource groups, resources, and policies.
• Manage Azure Virtual Machines running Windows/Linux and SQL Server hosted on Azure VMs.
• Support Azure SQL Database administration, monitoring, backup verification, and basic troubleshooting.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Alerts.
• Manage Azure networking components including VNets, NSGs, Route Tables, VPN Gateways, Private Endpoints, and Private DNS Zones.
• Administer Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), RBAC, MFA, and access controls.
• Perform vulnerability remediation, security patching, OS hardening, vulnerability assessments, and closure of security findings.
• Support cloud security, compliance audits, backup/recovery, patching, and operational health checks.
• Develop basic automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Troubleshoot Azure, Windows/Linux, networking, and database-related incidents.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and runbooks.

Requirements

• Experience or working knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud administration.
• Understanding of Azure SQL Database and SQL Server Administration.
• Hands‑on knowledge of Windows Server and RHEL/Linux administration.
• Understanding of Azure networking concepts including VNets, NSGs, VPN, routing, Private Endpoints, and DNS.
• Basic ing and automation skills using PowerShell and Azure CLI.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, MFA, cloud security, and access management.
• Experience with vulnerability remediation, security patching, OS hardening, and compliance activities.
• Understanding of Azure monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Knowledge of backup, recovery, troubleshooting, and cloud operational support.
• Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• AZ-900 certification is desirable; AZ-104 and SC-900 certifications are advantageous.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with an eagerness to learn and grow in cloud technologies.
