PURPOSE

The EP ASEAN Clinical Trainer will provide expert clinical product and technical assistance and training to physicians, EP Lab Staff, and country clinical specialists on the effective and safe use of our products during case procedures within ASEAN, and in a manner that leads to meeting and exceeding business goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Training

1. Develop training and development plan for new hires in respective countries.
2. Support cases (2D, 3D, Single Shot) with the newly trained team member and ensure that they support the clinical cases safely and professionally, and monitor their clinical competencies for products relating to respective market.
3. Identify learning needs of cath labs staff and conduct in-service session to improve their understanding in respective labs and countries.
4. Educate customers and internal BSC employees on the merits and proper clinical usage of our products by giving presentations and demonstrations to keep abreast with the latest product and technology developments for EP portfolio.
5. Partner with local teams to drive professional Education Program to Physicians where needed.
6. Organise, plan and conduct trainings for new product/software launches in respective sites for both internal and external customers to drive adoption and utilization.
7. Provide initial and continuous practical and in-field training to EP new hires and junior team members specialists on EP portfolio, development process, products and features, and procedures involving those products and features.
8. Follow up with new hires under your charge and track their progress in accordance with the development plan; and adjust it when necessary.
9. Identify learning gaps of mentees, and develop follow up action plans to bridge the gaps improve his/her clinical skills and knowledge.
10. Be the lead to ensure clinical excellence of the country team by providing guidance to clinical specialists as needed.

Clinical Case Support

1. Will be required to attend cases in labs of hospital accounts for case support and development efforts of our capital systems and their components.
2. Respond to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel to develop optimal solutions.
3. Serve as primary contact point for clinical support and arrangement in the areas of case coverage, troubleshooting for EP systems and catheters, in the ASEAN region, to ensure the franchise clinical excellence.

Self Improvement

1. Keep abreast with updated publications relating to key aspects of BSC product and technology, in particular PFA and Rhythmia.
2. Will be required to maintain advanced clinical knowledge of cardiac ablation, cardiac ablation components, technical knowledge of EP technology, advancements, and changing EP landscape.
3. Embark on enrichment programmes to upskill oneself to enhance personal performance.
