PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The above role is responsible for providing clinical support for the BIOTRONIK Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) portfolio directly or indirectly to hospitals, medical professionals, and allied partners. The incumbent is responsible for building strong customer relations through excellent customer service and support function teams to contribute to programs meant to deliver an excellent customer experience, maintain market share, and to grow the business portfolio.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Accountable for achieving business plan within assigned accounts and delivering profitable growth.
- Attend to doctors or KOLs (i.e Cardiologists & Electrophysiologists) in private or government hospitals.
- Works directly with hospitals on tenders and consignment stocks or channel partners on tenders.
- Provide technical support, including tools maintenance, testing, directly or indirectly to field and inquiries from doctors, promptly.
- Assist implantations/procedures and follow-up closely.
- Resolve issues and conducting root cause analysis.
- Ensure strategic account plans are developed and implemented effectively.
- Manage key processes and procedures while maintaining compliance to established business and healthcare compliance regulation guidelines.
- Work closely with healthcare professionals during implantations and device troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with all Company Policies and Procedures.
- Initiate sales activities.
- Support the marketing team on programs, workshops or congress, as and when required.
- Support clinical studies, if any.
For Senior Clinical Specialist:
- Recommend sales improvement strategies and give advice to the sales team.
- Assign to mentor new employees by providing guidance, advice, feedback and support.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, engineering or related field of medical discipline.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1-3 years relevant experience, preferably in cardiac medical device industry.
- Prior knowledge and understanding of ECGs and Cardiac Arrhythmias a plus.
- Strong written and verbal skills in English.
- High level of energy and passion to drive products to the assigned accounts.
- Good knowledge of working in sterile room environment and know medical device product lines through interaction or procedural consultation.
- Good relationships with doctors to support product lines.
- Proven knowledge of clinical support to surgeons during procedures.
- Effective communication skills.
- Keep current of key trends within medical device segments and able to identify potential business opportunities.
- Analytical and diagnostical; keen in technical troubleshooting and enjoy problem solving.
- Able to keep up in a fast-paced environment.
