Job summary

Tan Tock Seng Hospital, an anchor hospital of NHG Health, seeks a Research Business Manager to grow its clinical research enterprise through strategic partnerships and industry collaborations. You will work with clinicians, researchers, and industry partners to expand research offerings and position TTSH as a leading partner in clinical research.

Qualifications

Degree in Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare Management, Biomedical Sciences or related.
At least 8 years of experience in business development or strategic partnerships in healthcare-related sectors.
Proven track record in developing partnerships and driving business growth.
Experience engaging senior leaders, industry sponsors and external stakeholders.
Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking with opportunity development skills.
Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to translate opportunities into meaningful partnerships and initiatives.
Ability to collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups in complex healthcare settings.
Postgraduate qualifications in clinical research or healthcare innovation are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategies to grow the clinical research portfolio and industry studies.
Identify and pursue partnerships with pharma, biotech, medtech and digital health organisations.
Lead initiatives to expand sponsored research activities and strategic collaborations.
Build and maintain relationships with sponsors, CROs, healthcare institutions and innovators.
Facilitate discussions with prospective collaborators and support partnership development.
Represent the organisation at industry events and partnership meetings.
Support regional and international collaborations strengthening the research ecosystem.
Evaluate new research programmes, services and growth initiatives.
Provide market insights and strategic recommendations for partnerships.
Work with internal and external stakeholders to advance research and patient care.
