Job summary

Tan Tock Seng Hospital's Clinical Research and Innovation Office invites applications for a Sr/Research Fellow to design, execute, and analyse clinical and translational studies aligned with its Academic Health Excellence agenda. You will work with principal investigators and multidisciplinary teams to advance protocol development, data interpretation, and scientific communication.

You will contribute to ethics and regulatory compliance, manuscript preparation, grant submissions, and knowledge

Qualifications

• Familiarity with clinical research processes, study implementation, and ethics governance.
• Knowledge of research methodology, data protection policies, and academic publishing practices.
• Competent in data management, statistical analysis, and visualisation tools (e.g., R, SPSS, Excel).
• Experienced in grant administration and grant writing.
• Strong scientific writing, presentation, and documentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with investigators, research coordinators, and administrative teams.
• Ability to manage multiple research tasks with timelines, quality, and ethical compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively across disciplines.
• Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement clinical or translational research studies.
• Collaborate with investigators to align with scientific and operational goals.
• Manage data collection across clinical, laboratory, and digital platforms; analyse datasets.
• Prepare manuscripts and posters for journals and conferences.
• Assist with grant submissions, ethics applications (IRB), and progress reports.
• Lead mentorship for junior staff and interns.
