Job summary

Singapore General Hospital is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator I/II to support clinical and health services research in accordance with regulatory and protocol requirements. The role collaborates with the PI, department staff, sponsors, and monitors to ensure compliant administration of studies.

Responsibilities include day-to-day logistics, involvement in internal monitoring, budgeting, trainer for delegated staff, and preparation for audits/inspections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Science/Pharmacy or related field; Diploma holders also eligible.
• Nursing (on project basis) experience may be considered.
• Clinical Trial Management Diploma/Advance Diploma/ Degree preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages research study independently; coordinates daily study activities with the team.
• Participates in evaluating study proposals and protocols.
• Understands assigned protocol, timelines, inclusion/exclusion criteria, and privacy protections.
• Assists PI in designing recruitment materials and essential study documents (CRFs, source docs).
• Supports study submissions to IRB/HSA and reports safety events as required.
• Compiles study results and performs simple statistical analyses.
• Assists in budget preparation and negotiations for trial agreements.
• Maintains study payment trackers and reimbursements for participants.
