Job summary

Singapore General Hospital is seeking a clinical research team member to perform specialised investigations, maintain equipment, and coordinate study workflows. The role includes collecting samples, monitoring subject well-being, and ensuring protocol compliance.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Medical Technology or Health Science, knowledge of MS Office, and is bilingual. COVID-19 vaccination is required, and you will liaise with physicians and subjects for informed consent.

Qualifications

• Degree in Medical Technology/Health Science with relevant academic certification.
• Knowledge of MS Office software.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
• Bilingual and/or knowledge of local dialects.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialised investigations according to established procedures and records and reports results to physicians/clients.
• Maintain laboratory equipment according to specifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Doctor-in-charge or Head of Department.
• Acts as liaison between subjects and other members of the research team. Obtains relevant information by interview and case note reviews.
• Explain aims and plans of the project in lay terms, addressing questions and concerns of subjects, and arranging for informed consent.
• Plans, organises and coordinates the workflow of each of the studies.
• Schedules subjects for visits to the clinic for required tests and evaluations.
• Collection of samples according to protocol, where necessary.
• Assists the investigators in monitoring the subjects' well being.
• Compiles relevant patient data and maintains proper documentation.
• Completes and maintains case report forms.
• Draft reports for submission to the relevant authorities.
• Ensures compliance with protocols and schedules of evaluation.
• Document and tabulate financial payments received or made to the study.
