Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking a Medical Simulation Laboratory Assistant for a public healthcare organisation in Singapore. This role offers hands-on work in a specialised medical training environment, supporting clinical workshops, anatomy education and research that advance healthcare.

The position requires a minimum secondary education and basic computer skills. Mon-Fri 8.30am-6.00pm, with possible weekend or after-hours support; salary SGD 2,500–3,500.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the training laboratory before classes and sessions.

• Provide on-site support during workshops to ensure smooth sessions.
• Assist with taking X-ray images of specimens when required.
• Track laboratory supplies and arrange replenishment.
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for operations.
• Ensure laboratory is clean, safe and compliant with hygiene standards.
• Support body donation and tissue bank administration.
• Carry out general administrative and operational duties for daily running.

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Simulation Laboratory Assistant to join our client, a public healthcare organisation. This unique opportunity offers hands‑on work in a specialised medical training environment, supporting clinical workshops, anatomy education and research that contribute to the advancement of healthcare.

Salary: $2500-$3500

Mon-Fri 8.30am-6.00pm. May be required to assist with on weekends/before/after office hours. Ample notice will be given beforehand.

JOB SCOPE

• Prepare the training laboratory before practical classes, workshops and medical training sessions.
• Set up equipment, training materials and specimens needed for each session.
• Assist with the handling and preparation of donated human specimens used for medical education and training (training will be provided).
• Provide on‑site support during workshops and practical training to ensure sessions run smoothly.
• Assist with taking X‑ray images of specimens when required.
• Keep track of laboratory supplies, equipment and inventory, and arrange for replenishment when needed.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for laboratory operations and deliveries.
• Ensure the laboratory is clean, organised and maintained according to safety and hygiene standards.
• Support the administration of body donation and tissue bank programmes.
• Carry out general administrative and operational duties to support the day‑to‑day running of the laboratory.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum secondary school education.
• Basic computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and email).
• Comfortable working with donated human specimens used for medical training.
• Experience in a laboratory or healthcare environment is an advantage, but not required.
• Knowledge of basic human anatomy will be a bonus.
• Willing to work occasional weekends or after office hours when supporting training workshops.
• Responsible, hands‑on and able to follow safety procedures carefully.
