Clinical Instructor, Nursing (Training & Education)

Job Responsibilities

1. Establish an optimal clinical learning environment.
2. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate preceptorship schemes to support new staff.
3. Provide on-the-job training (OJT) for new staff and assist Nurse Managers to ensure their competencies.
4. Coordinate and organize training activities to enhance unit-based and specialty clinical practices.
5. Plan, implement, and evaluate discipline-based training courses.
6. Ensure appropriate orientation, training, and continuing education for nursing staff to maintain their competencies.
7. Monitor patient care delivery to ensure adherence to established standards of care and practice.
8. Serve as a resource to Nurse Managers on clinical nursing and training matters.
9. Apply principles to prevent medico-legal issues related to patient care.
10. Conduct summative assessments of nursing staff.
11. Provide training and education for non-nursing staff and volunteers.
12. Develop and conduct hospital-based training aligned with MOH requirements and organizational standards.
