Responsibilities

• Receive laboratory specimens and reject those unsuitable for analysis.
• Operate Laboratory Information System for result query, order entry and result entry.
• Perform waived and moderate complexity tests as per protocols.
• Report adverse incidents to senior staff and alert on critical values.
• Prepare reagents and materials requiring special handling for reliability.
• Undertake preventive maintenance on laboratory instrumentation.
• Participate in routine administrative tasks like processing deliveries and invoices.
