Job summary

Qualifications

• Hold a basic medical degree from an accredited medical university or medical school.
• Pass the relevant national licensing examination in the country of basic degree conferment, where applicable.
• Complete at least 12 months of housemanship/internship with certification of satisfactory completion or equivalent.
• Have a minimum of 3 years post-housemanship experience as a medical officer or equivalent in the relevant specialty, or possess a postgraduate medical qualification in the relevant specialty.
• Fulfil the English language requirements set by the Singapore Medical Council (SMC).
• Be registered as a medical practitioner in the country of current practice.
• Obtain certification of good standing from the Medical Council or relevant national authority.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily ward rounds to assess and manage patient conditions effectively.
• Supervise and teach House Officers to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
• Assist senior doctors in running clinics and performing medical procedures and operations within scope.
• Perform night duties as scheduled by the Head of Department to ensure continuous patient care.
• Maintain active clinical practice to deliver up-to-date medical care.
• Comply with Singapore Medical Council (SMC) supervisory framework and operational requirements.
