Roles and Responsibilities

We are looking for a dependable and friendly Clinic Nurse to manage the day-to-day operation of a family medicine clinic. The ideal candidate is personable, organised, and takes pride in delivering professional care.

Job description

  • Perform frontline service such as greeting and registering patients, handling patients’ enquiries, attending to phone enquiries and scheduling patients’ appointments.
  • Prepare drugs and dispensing of medicines after checks by the doctor.
  • Educate patients on medication and procedures.
  • Assist the doctor during patient consultations (including as chaperone for female patients) and minor procedures.
  • Provide nursing care to patients (blood taking, dressing, ECG, etc).
  • Perform administrative duties such as handling billing transactions, payment, insurance claim submissions and ensure proper documentation and filing.
  • Manage clinic inventory and replenishing of medicines and consumable items, working with the doctor.
  • Support overall clinic operations such as opening, closing, and vendor coordinating.
  • Maintaining basic hygiene and cleanliness of the clinic facility.
  • Attend to other duties as assigned by the doctor.

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Nursing and registered under the SNB.
  • Strong communication skills with a caring and patient-focused attitude.
  • Willingness to learn new skills.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin (to communicate with Mandarin-speaking patients).
  • Able to multitask and work independently in a small team.
  • Hours of work: 32-40 hours/week (to be discussed).

Preferred skills

  • BCLS certified.
  • Prior experience in customer service or in healthcare.
  • Familiar with clinic management software such as Plato Medical.

Remuneration and benefits

  • Salary: $2,500 - $3,000 per month (commensurate with skills and working hours).
