Job description

The Clinic Manager (CM) will run the assigned clinic under the direction of the Director of Operations (HQ) or any delegated authority. The CM will manage an onsite team supporting the practicing doctor(s) in providing care to patients, ensuring smooth daily clinic operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manpower:

• Manage the clinic staff roster and manpower, with reasonable and fair planning of their work involvement to support the business.
• Request for hiring (where applicable).
• Conduct annual staff appraisals.

Expenses and financials:

• Manage clinic expenses, including inventory, consumables, expiring drugs, wastages, and utilities.
• Ensure all patient billings and invoices are accurate.
• Ensure daily financial settlement is completed properly, and all takings are accurately accounted for.

Work standards:

• Manage staff to deliver customer service excellence and patient satisfaction.
• Ensure regular stock-taking is done accurately, based on the agreed frequency.
• Manage team members’ overall work performance, including punctuality, accuracy, and teamwork.

Clinic and suppliers:

• Discuss and execute plans for minor repairs, furniture replacement, or facility needs with reporting officers.
• Ensure regular preventive maintenance of equipment and air conditioning servicing in the clinic.
