Responsibilities:
  • Perform administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of a specialist.
  • Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding for insurance purposes.
  • Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, and administering medications as directed by a specialist.
  • Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure their vital signs, weight, and height.
  • Explain treatment procedures, medications, diets, and physicians' instructions to patients.
  • Contact medical facilities or departments to schedule patients for tests and/or admission.
  • Obtain blood specimens to send for necessary laboratory tests.
  • Chaperone specialists as and when required.
  • Sterilization of medical equipment.
  • Any ad-hoc duties assigned.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year relevant working experience in healthcare.
  • Trained phlebotomist
  • Good attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Candidate must be able to liaise/communicate in both English and Mandarin with Mandarin speaking patients.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Able and willing to work on a 5.5-day work week.
