A leading healthcare center in Singapore seeks a Patient Care Coordinator. Responsibilities include managing patient registrations, handling appointments and cashiering duties, providing financial counselling, and ensuring smooth communication with patients and families about procedures. This role requires good communication skills and a team-oriented approach to deliver excellent patient care.
Job Summary:
Responsible for reception duties regarding, registration, financial counselling, collection of payment and other administration duties
Roles and Responsibilities
Patient Care Management
· Perform patient registration for all patients by obtaining patient’s addresses, contact details, insurance, information and medical histories accurately
· Timely answer phone call/WhatsApp/emails to book appointments/queries/surgeries
· Book radiology/lab/surgeries for patients and ensure results are promptly received back
· Provide accurate financial counselling for procedures/surgeries patient and thepatient’s family
· Assist in applying for insurance LOG & other matters relating to insurance (eg. Enquiries)
· Cashiering duties & closure of daily accounts
· Submit claims promptly and accurately for corporate patients
· Scanning of patient medical reports
· Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of counter and patient’s waiting areas
· Understand basic principles of breast disease & treatments
· Facilitate smooth arrangements of appointments, imaging, biopsies
· Able to educate thepatient on pre-op and post-op instructions (eg fasting, admission time)
· Accurately key in referral sources for new patients
· Assume additional duties directed by thenursing manager or supervisors.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Minimum GCE ‘N’ Level
Good communication and interpersonal skill
Punctual, collaborative, team player
Positive & friendly attitude – initiative, cooperative, helpful, efficient
Computer literacy
Preferably has experience in healthcare setting
Working hours:
5.5 working days
Mon-Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm, Sat 8.30am to 12.30pm
