Job Summary:

As a Clinic Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our clinic. You will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask effectively, and a positive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist patients, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment.
  • Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, confirming, and rescheduling.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls, addressing inquiries and directing calls appropriately.
  • Process patient payments, including handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and organizing documents.
  • Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with other clinic staff to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Pleasant personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with patients and create a positive experience.
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and experience with electronic health records (preferred, but training provided).
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting is a plus, but not required.
