Clinic Assistant

Job Description

As a Clinic Assistant, you will be responsible for managing the clinic's day-to-day operations to ensure it is clean, organized, and welcoming for patients and medical staff.

Job Requirements

  1. Perform general administrative duties assigned by the Clinic Supervisor or Managers, including:
  2. Patient registration
  3. Record medical history
  4. Dispense medication
  5. Schedule appointments
  6. Reconcile daily monetary transactions
  7. Update medical billings & invoices
  8. Monthly stock-take of drugs & consumables
  9. Assist and chaperone doctors during physical examinations
  10. Prepare and stock examination rooms with necessary supplies. Restock supplies as and when required
  11. Communicate effectively with patients to address their concerns
  12. Adhere to all clinic policies, procedures, and safety protocols
  13. Willing to work shifts (morning / afternoon / night shift)
  14. Willing to cover duties in other clinics owned by the parent company

Skills and Knowledge

  1. Minimum GCE “O” Level or higher; prior healthcare experience is an advantage, but not required as training will be provided
  2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
  3. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  4. Basic knowledge of medical procedures and equipment used in clinical setup
  5. Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  6. Proficiency in Mandarin is essential for effective communication with Chinese-speaking patients.
