Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Singapore is looking for an Admin role to handle billing, patient registration, and general clinic duties. The successful candidate will be key in ensuring smooth operations and communication within the clinic. Ideal applicants should possess strong adaptability, critical thinking, and proficiency in MS Office, with a willingness to commit to a 4-day work week including alternate Saturdays, contributing positively to the patient experience.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least a Primary/Secondary School / 'O' Level, Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of working experience in the related field required.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

  • Generate billing, clear outstanding payments, and update tracking sheets for all inpatient/hospital bills.
  • Register and triage new and existing patients, handle inquiries, and schedule appointments.
  • Adapt to various other duties assigned by the Doctors / Clinic Manager.

Job description

1. Admin / Accounts Duties (60%)

  • Generate billing, clear outstanding payments, update tracking sheet for all inpatient/hospital bills
  • Handling and ensure timely submission of all insurance claims via their provider portal and update of tracking sheet.
  • Clear of outstanding payments for all outpatient cases, including insurances such as Fullerton, Singlife, Adept, Alliance, etc.
  • Submit and clearing of payments for Mediclaim transactions
  • Ensure timely submission of mid and end month accounts to HQ
  • Handle all insurance & hospital queries
  • Submit daily POS collection report to HQ (Accounts) on a weekly.

2. Perform General Clinic / Reception Duties (30%)

  • Register and triage of new and existing patients
  • Perform height and weight measurement
  • Handle of all incoming calls and patient’s enquiries
  • Schedule of appointment for patients
  • Payment collection

3. Any other duties assigned by the Doctors / Clinic Manager (10%)

Job requirement

  • Candidate must possess at least a Primary/Secondary School/"O" Level, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, any field.
  • At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Adaptability and critical thinking skills in dynamic situations
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel)
  • Tech-savvy individuals and the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to commit 4 days work week (including alternate Saturdays)
