Job summary

GenZero seeks motivated interns to join its Singapore team, working with the investment team on climate-tech opportunities and decarbonisation initiatives. You will conduct industry and thematic research, model potential investments, and help prepare memoranda for senior leadership.

Ideal candidates are undergrads or recent graduates in finance, economics, engineering, or sustainability with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a keen interest in PE/VC and climate tech investing.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or recent graduate in finance, business, economics, engineering, sustainability or a related discipline.
• Strong interest in PE/VC and climate tech investing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with good attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior internship experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, consulting, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform industry and thematic research across the climate tech ecosystem, focusing on carbon management, energy transition, and adaptation & resilience.
• Support the evaluation of investment opportunities.
• Financial modelling, valuation analyses, and sensitivity and scenario analyses.
• Collaborate with the investment team to develop investment theses and prepare memoranda, analyses and presentations for senior management, the Investment Committee and the Board.
• Assist with portfolio support, including reporting, value creation initiatives and data room management.
