Start your career with Bank of Singapore as a Client Tax Regulatory Reporting Analyst (8 months contract) in our Securities Regulatory Services Team!
You will be working in the Securities Regulatory Reporting Team to support the bank in meeting its MAS610/ SFA/ HKTR/ MiFIR reporting obligations by producing high-quality reports and performing the submissions in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
Perform daily validation of various derivatives reports and submit to DTCC (for MAS SFA) and HKTR (for HKMA) in a timely and accurate manner.
Perform daily validation of transactional information to be submitted for MiFIR reporting.
Perform monthly validation of MAS610 turnover report which is then handed over to the Finance department for their upwards submission.
Monitor the De Minimis Threshold Monitoring Report and flag exceptions as required.
Opportunity to work closely with various operations teams and technology teams to address any discrepancies/exceptions that arise.
Obtain accurate information from various data sources to be manually enriched in the appropriate format as necessary.
Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT)/Regression Testing arising from changes in regulations/business processes/system behaviours from time to time.
Identify and propose process improvements as necessary.
Support the maintenance of operational procedures and ensure adherence to control standards.
Support queries pertaining to the reporting processes.
Support other ad-hoc requirements as necessary.
Qualifications:
Preferably a university degree in finance or accounting.
Working experience of at least 1 year in the OTC derivative products space in either FX, Rate and/or Equities.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Responsible and willing to take ownership of assigned tasks, ensuring quality completion and adherence to timelines.
Display high attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.
Follow through appropriately for the rectification of exceptions.
Working experience with Temenos T24 will be an added advantage.
Working knowledge of VBA/Python scripting will be an added advantage.
