Job summary

A leading company in financial services is seeking a Client Service Manager to support relationship managers and clients. In this role, you'll coordinate client documentation, manage trade operations, and ensure compliance while providing exceptional service. A minimum of two years experience in client service is required, along with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in financial services, ideally frontline client service.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced environments and willing to work outside normal hours.

Job description

As a Client Service Manager, you will support relationship managers and clients by handling key tasks such as:

Client Servicing:

  • Coordinate with different teams to ensure client documentation meets compliance standards
  • Respond promptly to client queries and resolve issues
  • Take client orders and understand their overall relationship with us

Operations:

  • Manage trade booking and settlements
  • Resolve settlement and funding issues
  • Follow up on margin calls and collateral concerns
  • Handle transaction documentation (e.g., client suitability)

Policies and Procedures:

  • Follow all internal policies and procedures carefully

Administrative Tasks:

  • Complete administrative duties like booking travel, processing expenses, and sending marketing materials

Skills and Experience:

  • Fluent in English; intermediate proficiency in Mandarin (verbal and written)
  • We require the specific language as the candidate will need to liaise with the Bahasa/Malay speaking clients and business users
  • Minimum University graduate with 2-3 years of relevant experience in financial services, preferably frontline client service
  • Knowledge of Private Banking investment products such as FX, Equities, Fixed Income, and derivatives
  • Detail-oriented and meticulous
  • Able to multitask and work well under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Willing to work outside normal hours when needed
  • Proactive team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Interest in the private banking industry
  • Must pass CACS paper 2, if selected.
