Job summary

Nomura is seeking an experienced Client Service & Sales Support professional for its Asset Management team in Asia ex-Japan, focusing on Southeast Asia. The role supports regional distribution, governance, and strategic initiatives while collaborating with global teams.

Role requires a strong background in client servicing within financial services, with preference for experience across institutional and wholesale markets in Asia Pacific ex-Japan. A university degree is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of client servicing or sales support experience in financial services.
• Experience in institutional and wholesale markets across Asia Pacific ex-Japan is a plus.
• Ability to navigate a complex, matrixed corporate environment with strong judgement.
• Tertiary education completed; University degree required.

Responsibilities

• Service NAM clients in Asia ex-Japan region, mainly Southeast Asia.
• Provide sales support for Singapore-based sales and regional team.
• Support Head of Client Service & Business Management for Asia ex-Japan in governance and monitoring.
• Contribute to ad-hoc projects related to NAM Asia ex-Japan business.
• Support end-to-end delivery across NAM clients in the region and assist local sales in business development.
• Assist in business management functions for NAM, under senior management direction.
• Perform other tasks and projects as assigned.

Role Description

• Service the clients in Asia ex-Japan region, primarily in Southeast Asia countries.
• Provide sales support function for sales based in Singapore and also rest of the Asia ex-Japan Distribution Team.
• Supporting the Head of Client Service & Business Management for Asia ex-Japan in management of the overall Distribution Team in the Region by helping with governance procedures and subsequent monitoring.
• Supporting Head of Client Service & Business Management for Asia ex-Japan in all ad-hoc projects related to the overall Asia ex-Japan Business of Nomura Asset Management.
• Covering end to end delivery across NAM clients in the Asia ex-Japan region and support the local sales in all business development activities. This includes both Institutional and Wholesale client segment in Asia ex-Japan region.
• Supporting the Head of Client Service & Business Management for Asia ex-Japan on business management function.
• Perform other tasks and projects as assigned from time to time from senior management of NAM.

Skills, Experience, Qualifications And Knowledge Required

• Minimum of 10 years of Client Servicing or Sales support experience in the financial services industry
• Strong experience in key markets (Institutional & Wholesale) and key countries – mainly Southeast Asia countries, and regional experience across Asia Pacific ex-Japan would be a plus.
• Experience working within a complex, matrixed corporate environment effectively, and ability to navigate complex processes.
• Display passion and energy to support the business growth.
• Have sensitivity, discretion and sound judgement with the ability to interact at all levels.
• Team player with strong attention to detail
• Tertiary education (University Degree) required.
