Job summary

Job description

We are supporting our client in financial services to hire for the role of Client Onboarding & Compliance Analyst (KYC/AML & Account Maintenance).

The team supports the client by managing important client information and documents to ensure compliance with global and local regulations. This role focuses on keeping client accounts updated and reviewed regularly to make sure all rules and policies are followed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle administrative tasks like preparing welcome packages, scanning, and filing documents
  • Manage requests to update account details, making sure all changes are accurate and timely
  • Conduct regular account reviews according to set procedures
  • Perform extra checks on high-risk accounts, such as those involving politically exposed persons or negative news
  • Manage regular account review cycles like investor status, vulnerable client checks, investment profiles, and insider declarations
  • Work closely with sales teams to get necessary information and answer their daily questions

Requirements:

  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin) to liaise with Cantonese-speaking business units and clients.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good analytical and follow-up skills
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and with a team
  • Able to work well under pressure, especially during busy times

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in financial services
  • Experience in client onboarding, account maintenance, periodic review, or compliance preferred
  • Experience with Source of Wealth reviews is a plus
