Job summary

Julius Baer in Singapore seeks a Client Onboarding Officer to review AML/KYC risk for Standard and Medium Risk client relationships and escalate higher risk accounts to Compliance, in line with internal policies.

You will lead a team of 5–8 Officers, partner with Front Office, Legal, Compliance and Risk Management to ensure compliant onboarding and robust risk controls under MAS 626 guidelines.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years’ experience in KYC Onboarding or AML, preferably in Private Banking.
• Strong understanding of Private Banking and Wealth Management.
• Solid knowledge of MAS 626 Notice & Guidelines.
• Experience in preparing reports and strong Excel skills.
• Prior people management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve onboarding of new client relationships and accounts.
• Assess AML/KYC risk and escalate to Compliance when needed.
• Provide guidance to Front Office on KYC/CDD matters.
• Lead a team of 5-8 Client Onboarding Officers.
• Ensure compliance with MAS 626 and internal policies.
