Job summary

Studio Kinu, a family and lifestyle photography studio in Singapore, is seeking a hands-on Studio Assistant to support shoots, manage the studio environment, and help with client service.

You’ll assist during sessions, engage with visiting families and pets, coordinate props, and contribute to social media content across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.

The role requires a 5-day week with at least one weekend day, strong English communication, and the ability to multitask in a small team.

Qualifications

• Comfortable working with children in a studio setting.
• Comfortable around animals, especially dogs and cats.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal English.
• Able to multitask and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Studio & Client Support: Assist the photographer during shoots, including helping children feel comfortable and engaged; provide attentive customer service before, during, and after shoots; organise and maintain studio props, sets, and equipment.
• Client & Social Media Management: Respond to enquiry emails and Instagram DMs promptly and professionally; help brainstorm and execute social media content and campaigns; create content for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok to build engagement.
• Cross-Brand Support: May occasionally support sister brand Kinu Supply with tasks during peak periods, e.g., order packing or pop-ups.

Work Arrangement: Full-time, 5-day work week including one weekend day (ideally both Saturday and Sunday), off-days on weekdays

Key Responsibilities

Studio & Client Support

• Assist the photographer during shoots, including helping children feel comfortable and engaged
• Provide attentive customer service before, during, and after shoots
• Organise and maintain studio props, sets, and equipment

Client & Social Media Management

• Respond to enquiry emails and Instagram DMs promptly and professionally
• Help brainstorm and execute social media content and campaigns
• Create content for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok to build engagement

Cross-Brand Support

• Studio Kinu and Kinu Supply operate under the same roof and team, so this role may occasionally support Kinu Supply with tasks such as order packing, event/pop-up help, or content, particularly during peak periods

What We're Looking For

• Comfortable working with children in a studio setting; some prior experience with young children is a plus
• Comfortable around animals, particularly dogs and cats (our shoots regularly include pets)
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a small-team environment
• A creative eye and familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook content formatsOpen to occasionally supporting our sister brand, Kinu Supply, during busy periods (e.g. pop-ups, product launches)
• Able to commit to a 5-day week that includes at least one weekend day (ideally both)

Candidates must be eligible to work in Singapore.
