Job summary

Goldman Sachs Singapore is seeking an Analyst for the Client Assets function within Controllers. This role focuses on governance, oversight and partnership across Revenue, Legal, Compliance, Audit and Technology to ensure compliance with Japan and Australia Client Asset regulations and related Asia rules.

The team handles daily lock-up calculations, asset custody, and regulatory reporting. You will work with Operations and Engineering to implement new processes, manage regulatory inquiries, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience with working knowledge of Asia regulations.
• Self-starter who liaises with other teams to close issues.
• Strong risk management skills and sound judgment.
• Ability to dig into Operations and Engineering processes to understand issues.
• Strong communication across a broad range of stakeholders.
• Demonstrated organizational, prioritization and project management skills.
• Experience with low-code tooling (Alteryx, SQL) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Investigation, reporting and root-cause analysis of day-to-day exceptions in processes.
• Execute daily client assets computations and reporting.
• Coordinate between Operations, Engineering, Legal and Compliance on Client Assets issues.
• Review processes to identify touchpoints and ensure adherence to Asia regulations.
• Participate in implementing new processes and controls in response to regulatory changes.
• Engage in regulatory matters such as inspections and information requests.
• Collaborate with external auditors, providing audit evidence to demonstrate compliance.
