Job summary

Goldman Sachs Singapore invites an Analyst/Associate to join Asset Management (AM) Compliance. You will advise AM business teams on day-to-day regulatory requirements, monitor rule changes and help implement controls, filings and investigations.

You will interact with Portfolio Management, Sales, Finance, Operations, Engineering, Legal and Internal Audit to understand AM’s business and regulatory landscape, develop policy guidance, and support trainings and communications across regional

Qualifications

• 1-3 years (Analyst) or 3 to 7 years (Associate) of experience in Compliance, Legal or risk control.
• Risk and control focused individual with sound judgment.
• Takes ownership of tasks/projects and is detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently while at the same time be a proactive team player.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
• Additional Asian language skills preferred to facilitate regional communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide regulatory guidance to AM business teams.
• Keep up-to-date with regulatory changes and implement them.
• Assist with regulatory reviews, inspections, investigations, or inquiries.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of regulatory documents.
• Identify mitigations for regulatory or reputational risks.
• Investigate and resolve issues from day-to-day operations.
• Perform compliance monitoring and investigations as needed.
• Review marketing materials for regulatory compliance.
• Handle complaints and report to regulators as required.
• Develop and maintain compliance policies and trainings.
• Participate in review of new instruments and activities for compliance needs.
• Advise with Technology for control developments/enhancements.
• Contribute to miscellaneous global projects as required.
