Job description

The role provides comprehensive communication scope in terms of consumer PR, IMC and regional marketing, with a focus on tech (smartphone, wearables, EV) and lifestyle (fashion, photography, travel, etc.).

You will work closely with multiple key stakeholders, including regional media/KOL partners across Southeast Asia, internal teams and partner agencies to deliver high-quality work. You also need to face the clients — particularly Chinese brands outbound regional teams— for project status update.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle assigned requests on day-to-day account deliverables, including media/KOL relations, third party liaison, content development, on-site support, etc.
  • Plan and execute multi-market media/KOL outreach, build relationships, and track coverage, with a focus on Southeast Asian and regional titles.
  • Identify industry and media narrative trends, and adapt/create engaging content such as media releases, pitch emails, editorial copy, spokesperson talking points, media FAQ, media/KOL briefing book, factsheet, social content, etc.
  • Under guidance of the supervisor, contribute to PR plans or integrated communications plans, including brainstorming, consumer/competitors research, creative ideation, and content angles development.
  • Monitor tasks timeline and ensure updates / progress on projects: keep client, internal team and third parties informed the entire way.
  • Guide and coordinate interns on projects as needed.
  • Collaborate with other groups/practices for smooth project delivery

We are looking for candidate with:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Digital, Public Relations, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of industry experience in communication, Public Relations, media, and/or (internship also counts)
  • Proficient in written and spoken English is a must
  • Strong interpersonal skills, cultural adaptability, and the ability to work effectively with clients, media, and internal teams
  • Independent, proactive, collaborative, open-minded, solution driven
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in supporting / managing multi-market or multicultural projects.
  • Good understanding of media/KOL industry
