Job summary

ICE Clear Europe Limited in Singapore is seeking a proactive professional to support Clearing Operations, Risk management and Treasury functions. You will help establish best-practice frameworks, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with clearing members to deliver reliable services.

The role involves analyzing data with Excel/Tableau, managing incidents, and contributing to system enhancements. A 1–3 year background in financial services and strong communication are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Strong academic background with understanding of financial markets, market structure, and regulatory frameworks.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry, preferably with understanding of exchange traded instruments risk management and its clearing & settlement lifecycle.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and analytical tools such as Tableau, with ability to analyse data and draw insights.
• Working knowledge of SQL and Excel VBA, including ability to leverage AI tools to interpret, develop and troubleshoot queries/code.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to collaborate across teams.
• High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proactive attitude with willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain and operate a framework with Heads of Clearing Operations, Risk management and Treasury for best practice.
• Provide excellent customer service to Clearing Members.
• Ensure adherence to Clearing Rules, Regulation and Procedures.
• Proactively manage, escalate and resolve operational incidents; perform root cause analysis and drive improvements.
• Design, develop and implement enhancements to clearing systems and processes; write business requirements and perform UAT.
• Proficient in risk and control concepts; generate reports and monitor risks.
• Provide Clearing Ops, Risk and Treasury support for other clearing houses during Singapore office hours.
