Job summary

ICE Futures Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a professional to support Clearing Operations, Risk management and Treasury functions.

The role involves working with senior leaders to maintain global best practices, delivering high-quality client service to Clearing Members, and ensuring strict adherence to clearing rules and procedures. Ideal candidates have a quantitative background, 1–3 years in financial services, and strong Excel/Tableau skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field.
• Solid understanding of financial markets, market structure and regulatory frameworks.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in financial services, preferably with understanding of trade clearing & settlement lifecycle.
• Proficient in Excel and analytical tools like Tableau; able to analyse data and derive insights.
• Working knowledge of SQL and Excel VBA; ability to use AI tools to interpret and troubleshoot queries.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Heads of Clearing Operations, Risk management and Treasury to maintain best-practice framework.
• Provide excellent customer service to Clearing Members.
• Ensure adherence to Clearing Rules, Regulation and Procedures at all times.
• Proactively manage and resolve operational incidents; perform root cause analysis and report to regulators where appropriate.
• Design, develop and implement enhancements to clearing house systems and processes; write business requirements and perform UAT.
• Contribute to risk control by creating reports and monitoring risks; support a strong control environment.
• Provide Clearing Operations, Risk management and Treasury support for other clearing houses within the group during Singapore office hours.

Job description

Job Purpose

The successful candidate performs various tasks across Clearing Operations, Risk management and Treasury functions of ICE Clear Singapore ("Clearing House") so that the Clearing House can operate smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Working with Heads of Clearing Operations, Risk management and Treasury to establish, maintain and operate a framework that will keep the Clearing House at the forefront of global best practice.
• Strong sense of customer relationship and providing excellent customer service to Clearing Members.
• Ensuring that Clearing Rules, Regulation and Procedures are adhered to at all times.
• Proactive management, escalation and resolution of operational incidents that arise, including root cause analysis, driving subsequent process and/or technology improvements and providing support with reporting to regulators where appropriate.
• Working with colleagues to design, develop and implement enhancements to clearing house systems and processes including writing business requirements and performing UAT.
• Proficient in risk and control concepts, participating in the implementation and operation of an effective control environment by generating reports, monitoring and mitigating risks that may arise.
• Providing Clearing Operations, Risk management and Treasury services support for other clearing houses within the group during Singapore office hours.

Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Strong academic background with a solid understanding of financial markets, market structure, and regulatory frameworks.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry, preferably with an understanding of exchange traded instruments risk management and its clearing & settlement lifecycle.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools such as Tableau, with the ability to analyse data and draw meaningful insights.
• Working knowledge of SQL and Excel VBA is preferred, including the ability to leverage AI tools to interpret, develop and troubleshoot queries/ code.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• High level of attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
• Self‑motivated with ability to work effectively and independently with minimal supervision.
