Job summary

Chipstone Electronics is a module-packaging clean room production facility in Singapore. You will be responsible for keeping production equipment safe, reliable and ready for operation, supporting installation, commissioning and trial production during ramp-up.

During stabilization, your focus covers preventive maintenance, breakdown response, equipment performance and spare-parts control. The role suits technicians from semiconductor back-end or related automated manufacturing environments,

Qualifications

NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Hands-on troubleshooting experience involving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and control components.
Able to read electrical drawings, equipment manuals and mechanical diagrams.

Responsibilities

Support installation, setup, commissioning and qualification of production equipment.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual schedules.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and restore production safely and quickly.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, sensor, motor and basic control-system faults.
Maintain complete repair, breakdown, preventive-maintenance and equipment-history records.
Coordinate with equipment suppliers, service providers and technical-support teams for complex repairs or upgrades.
