Job summary

Mokara Gymnastics Academy is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for children, families and staff at our facility.

Responsibilities include cleaning gym floors, offices and reception areas, and following hygiene standards. Training will be provided, and you will join a supportive team where your work makes a real difference.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning preferred but training provided.
• Comfortable working in a children's environment.
• Responsible, punctual and hardworking.
• No allergy to cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Clean and mop gym floors, mats and equipment.
• Vacuum and mop office floors; wipe desks and workstations.
• Clean reception area, including desks, glass panels and waiting areas.
• Clean pantry area and fridge (weekly).
• Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste properly.
• Follow cleaning schedules and hygiene standards.
• Use cleaning tools and chemicals safely.
• Report any damages or safety issues.
• Other cleaning duties as assigned.
• Duties will be shared with other cleaners. Some cleaners focus on gym areas, others on offices/reception.

About the role

Mokara is looking for a dedicated and reliable Cleaner who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for children, families and staff.This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, responsible and comfortable working in a child-friendly gym setting.

Cleanliness and hygiene are essential to how we care for our young athletes. At Mokara, our cleaners play an important role in keeping our gym, offices and reception areas safe, organised and ready for daily operations. Training will be provided, and you'll be part of a supportive team where your work truly makes a difference.
