Job summary

ADVANCED RECYCLING PTE. LTD. is seeking a reliable Class 4 Driver to operate and drive a lorry, transporting goods to factory and customer sites on schedule. You will plan routes, load/unload cargo, and communicate delays with dispatchers.

Responsibilities include inspecting vehicles, adhering to driving regulations, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring safety, while maintaining vehicle cleanliness and reporting any defects promptly.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Class 4 Driver.
• Valid lorry driving license.
• Ability to drive long hours and handle multiple trips.
• Forklift license a great advantage.
• Extensive knowledge of lorry driving rules and regulations.
• No recent moving or driving violations.
• Willing to submit to background/drug checks.

Responsibilities

• Operating and driving a lorry to transport goods and materials over routes as scheduled.
• Inspecting vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and performing preventative maintenance.
• Complying with lorry driving rules and company policies.
• Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules.
• Loading and unloading cargo with forklift or pallet jack as needed.
• Collecting and verifying delivery instructions and signatures.
• Reporting defects, accidents or violations promptly.
• Keeping the lorry and equipment clean and in good working order.
• Communicating delays or problems on the route with clients or dispatchers.
