Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate a 24-foot lorry for daily local deliveries and pickups with an attendant.
• Load and unload cargo with the helper, including use of an electric pallet jack.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle checks and report faults promptly.
• Ensure accurate delivery/pick-up documentation and tally sheets.
• Adhere to safety rules and Singapore traffic regulations while on duty.
• Support container-related handling duties as required.
• Perform other operational tasks as directed by management.

About the Role

Our client is an established, Singapore-based logistics and freight forwarding company. They are looking for a dependable Class 4 Driver to operate a 24-footer lorry on daily delivery and collection routes, supported by an attendant.

What You\'ll Do

• Drive a 24-footer lorry for daily local delivery and collection runs
• Load and unload cargo together with an assigned attendant, including use of an electric pallet jack for loose cargo
• Carry out pre- and post-trip vehicle checks and report any faults or damage promptly
• Ensure proper documentation, e.g. delivery orders, pick-up orders and tally sheets
• Comply with all safety requirements and Singapore traffic regulations while on the job
• Support container-related handling duties as required
• Perform other operational duties as assigned by management
